Our selection Process is designed to provide the best match between Spicerhaart Residential Letting and prospective employees. It is also designed to allow each candidate to express their own ambitions and goals and to demonstrate skills which may not be clear from their academic achievements.

The Application

The first step is to complete our on-line application form. Each application received is reviewed and those candidates with skills matching our needs are invited to sit our online psychometric test.

Each candidates test score is thoroughly reviewed and candidates who are successful in this round will be invited to take part in a telephone interview.

Telephone Interview

The next part of selection will be the completion of a short, informal telephone interview. The duration of which would normally not exceed 20 minutes. You will not be expected to answer on the spot questions without time to prepare. Our interviewer will make initial contact with you and arrange a convenient time to call you back, normally within three hours.

Competency Based Interview

Candidates who successfully pass through the telephone interview stage will be invited to a competency based interview. These interviews will normally be held at one of our offices. The first interview asks you to think of examples from your personal history, which can be measured against our key skill requirements. Candidates who are successful at this round are invited back to attend the final stage of the recruitment process.

Final Assessment Day
Graduate Recruitment
If you successfully complete the psychometric test, telephone interview and competency based interview, you will be invited to a Final Assessment Day. Along with three other candidates you will be placed in one of our flagship branches for a day. You will take part in various skills based exercises specific to our business and will complete an interview with the Managing Director. You will also have the opportunity to speak with our staff based within the branch and find out more about the company and how it operates. At the end of the day you will be expected to make a presentation to the other graduates and the Managing Director.
