In 2011 we are committed to investing in new talent for our Financial Services business and I am delighted to announce the launch of our Financial Services Apprenticeship Programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to become a Mortgage Professional and develop a new career with Spicerhaart Financial Services.

We are teaming up with Babington Business College who have many years experience in providing high quality training & development initiatives. We will offer a structured training & development programme for those individuals who can demonstrate that they have the right level of desire and commitment to become a successful Mortgage Consultant in this challenging, but very rewarding career path.

Those individuals who are successful in gaining a place on this programme can expect to obtain;

• A recognised Professional qualification e.g. Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice
• Competence qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3 Award that will demonstrate competencies to a nationally recognised benchmark standard relevant to the role
• The Key Skills to become a very successful Mortgage Consultant within our business environment

So how do you qualify for the opportunity to join this programme?

Application criteria

• Age: 21 – 25
• Must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years
• Full driving licence
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s (including maths & English) with a grade C pass and above
• Applicants must meet the Financial Assessment criteria set by Sesame

Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours

• Good organisation skills e.g. the ability to plan and self organise
• Excellent communication skills
• Good computer skills and the use of IT applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent literacy and numeric skills
• Confident, professional and personal style

All those registering interest will initially be assessed against the above criteria and will be interviewed locally. Those successful at this stage will then be invited to attend a selection workshop consisting of a range of assessment activities.
