The Hatton home at Hayfield Place in Bedfordshire is a First Time Buyer Awards finalist

The Hatton at Hayfield Place in the Bedfordshire village of Silsoe has made the finals of the 2021 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards. Five-star housebuilder Hayfield’s popular design – which has three double bedrooms and an integral garage – has been shortlisted in the Best Family Home category.

Readers of the national magazine can vote for their favourite entries online at: http://www.ftbawards.com/poll/best-first-time-buyer-family-home-2021/. The voting process concludes on Friday 6th August, with the award ceremony taking place on Friday 3rd September at the Marriott Hotel in London’s Grosvenor Square.

The prestigious award nomination coincides with the release of five new Hatton homes, which will be available for occupation at Hayfield Place from this summer. Situated on the beautifully landscaped Leigh Woods Place in a cul-de-sac location, each home features 1,185 sq ft of luxury living space. The doors will open on a Hatton view home in July.

Kelly Sharman, Sales and Marketing Director for Hayfield said: “We are thrilled to be a finalist in the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards! We hope all those that vote can fully appreciate the quality of a Hatton, which provides families with plenty of living space to grow into in future years without needing to move. The integral garage also offers additional flexibility for storing bikes and cars, doing DIY, or even creating a gym at home.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer a range of incentives for those who reserve one of our five new Hattons at the off-plan stage. This home design is popular with those already living in Central Bedfordshire, and several Hattons in the first phase of Hayfield Place were also snapped up by people relocating out of London. We would encourage all those who are looking to move onto or up the property ladder to make an appointment to visit this stunning development and take a look around for themselves.”

Each Hatton at Hayfield Place is priced at £475,000 and the multi award-winning housebuilder is currently offering to carpet each home. Purchasers need not worry about the Stamp Duty Holiday ending, as Hayfield will provide a £5,000 contribution, and purchasers can also save a further £2,500 due to the Government’s nil rate for Stamp Duty being set at £250,000 until the end of September.

Interior features of a Hatton home include the well-proportioned kitchen/diner, which has a range of Bosch appliances. There is a sitting room across the rear of the property with double doors leading onto the private garden. Heritage bronze ironmongery and Farrow & Ball paint accompany you as you make your way to the first floor, where the three large bedrooms are found, along with a family bathroom and en-suite to the principal bedroom that both feature contemporary ROCA suites.

Hayfield Place features a total of 105 luxury family homes and bungalows. The scheme is located at High Street, Silsoe, Bedfordshire, MK45 4QF. The show home is open seven days a week from 10am – 5pm. For more information on the Hatton and Hayfield Place, please contact mark.alvis@spicerhaart.co.uk
